Oliver has worked in voluntary sector campaigning, policy and influencing for over 15 years. He leads MHF's Policy team, which works to shift the focus of central government and local systems towards the prevention of mental health problems. He is particularly interested in ensuring that the voices of people with experience of mental ill-health and minoritisation are at the centre of policy discussions and decision-making.
Prior to joining MHF he worked in the fields of suicide prevention and the protection of children’s rights, both domestically and internationally.
Oliver lives in South London and outside of work his interests include art, music and getting outside in nature as much as possible.
