Single Parents Wellbeing

We have been working with single parents since 2014, and we work closely with our current partner Single Parents Wellbeing on two programmes:

Mental Health Manifesto is a project with young people 10-24 years old, living in a single parent household, codesigning what they need for a mentally healthy future. The young people are able to connect with each other and to develop skills through volunteering and influencing work.

Thrive is a project that seeks to improve the mental health, confidence and self-esteem of single parents through meaningful volunteer opportunities, developed specifically for single parents. The project also shares learning to encourage others to be better at involving single parents.

We support both projects through providing training for their staff and volunteers, sharing our expertise on evaluation, and through our wider connections.
