During May, to mark this year's Mental Health Awareness Week on the theme of movement, we're excited to introduce our Around the World challenge, exclusively for our Strava followers! To participate simply follow us on Strava and let us know you would like to join the challenge. If don't already follow us, follow us here.
The aim is to challenge yourself to accumulate as many miles as possible throughout the month, virtually exploring different countries while raising awareness for mental health and celebrating the positive impact of physical activity on the mind.
The choice is yours - whether you commit for a single day, a week, or the entire month of May! You decide how to log your miles, whether it's through running, walking, cycling, or any other activity.
So, lace up your shoes, hop on your bike, or hit the trails to clock those miles and see where your journey takes you! Who's ready to take on the challenge and go the extra mile?
The first five participants to post their miles in the group challenge starting on 1 May will receive a Mental Health Foundation t-shirt & green ribbon pin badge! We will also give weekly shout-outs to those who have travelled the furthest distance!
Remember to share your progress in the Strava group challenge and use the hashtag #MilesForMentalHealth. Let's discover who can tally up the most miles!
How far are you willing to push yourself? Which country do you think you'll virtually reach by the end of the challenge? Join us to find out!
