Nothing beats a coastal path on a fresh spring day, and there is no need to look any further as the Isle of Wight Challenge offers all of this in its glory.
The route takes you along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles, and up to historic Cowes at the halfway stop. For Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor, and back to our welcome base camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey. Choose from 106km, 50km or 25km distance options, with full hospitality and support, including food, drinks and medics.
Why you should sign up
In addition to a Mental Health Foundation t-shirt, a fundraising pack and bespoke support from our Events Team, there are also some other great incentives to sign up for this fantastic challenge. Your entry includes a range of free food and drink at regular rest stops, and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, a t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.
Distances, entry fees and minimum sponsorships
- Full challenge (100km) – £33.75 registration fee, £595 minimum sponsorship
- Half challenge (50km) – £22.50 registration fee, £395 minimum sponsorship
- Quarter challenge(25km) – £11.25 registration fee, £250 minimum sponsorship
Alternatively, you can opt to part or fully pay the costs of the challenge yourself, reducing the required amount you'll have to raise. Please see the Isle of Wight Challenge for more details about the different pricing options.
