VOX is Scotland’s national mental health advocacy organisation run by and for its members.
VOX Scotland is a national membership organisation open to all people in Scotland with lived experience of mental health difficulties. We represent members’ views to politicians and health professionals, ensuring that Scotland’s laws and mental health services reflect their needs and interests.
VOX Scotland is led by its members and ensures people with lived experience of mental health can:
- Shape Scotland’s laws
- Influence service design and delivery
- Promote a better understanding of mental illness in wider society
- Advance the general interests of people with mental health issues
VOX Scotland provides collective advocacy at the national level, representing groups and communities with lived experience of mental health difficulties. We run various events and projects throughout the year on issues that matter to our members, including opportunities to shape the latest developments in Scottish Government mental health policy and practice.
